About
Hi, I'm Lorraine. I am the founder of Aptus.
I have always loved technology, languages and biology. These interests led me to studying computer programming at university, followed by a degree in French and Spanish and then Speech and Language Therapy!
I have worked as a Speech and Language Therapist in the National Health Service (NHS) in the South East of England, most recently as the lead therapist in an outpatient speech therapy service in North London.
I founded Aptus Speech Therapy as I could see how technology could enhance clinical practice. All my app ideas come from my experiences working with patients.
I now have the pleasure of developing more speech therapy apps in addition to running my own clinical practice.
